The list below provides some choices for the young, the mature and the young at heart. So basically there is at least one recommendation below that will suit your preferences. What are you waiting for? Blue Pine is our first recommendation. This place has character and plays some great music, mainly rock. They also offer snacks such as spare ribs, should you feel like nibbling on something while enjoying a few drinks, the kitchen stays open to 1am, which to me is always a bonus. This is also a great spot to watch some sports and with eight big screens you won’t have any problem getting a good seat. |

If “I will survive” is your Karaoke hit then you best get practising as Tuesday nights is karaoke and disco night at the Skylight, located opposite Lordos Beach Hotel in Larnaca. If you would rather wear ear plugs than listen to karaoke wait to visit on Wednesday instead with Flashback Night. 70s and 80s Disco music will soon have you owning the dance floor. Although this place is far removed from embracing local culture, if you are looking for a fun night out then head to The Blarney Stone Irish bar. This place comes with a guarantee that you will have some Irish “craic”. This pub is another local hot spot for Karoke too, if you are interested. Prices are reasonable here. If you have had enough of late nights and would like to sleep early so as you can hit the beach first thing, why not go watch a movie at Larnaca’s K-Cineplex. They have all the latest movies, air conditioned theatres and pleasant staff. Grab some popcorn, sit back and relax. It’s Friday night so let’s head to Circus. It is located in the centre of town and has a modern funky look. This bar attracts some mainstream DJs also. Some describe it as a pre-club lounge bar from 10.30 onwards. If you didn’t already know this I will let you in on a little secret, Ayia Napa, one of the world’s most buzzing spots is all but a short drive away from Larnaca. If you do want to embrace some real partying then Ayia Napa is your spot. Get ready for some foam parties, drinking shots, mechanical bulls and so much more. Theatre Antidote is a young people’s theatre in Cyprus. What this creative place does is create plays with and for young people from two years and up.
